Pooches will be putting their best paws forward this week, helping brighten up their human companions’ day at work.
Friday is Take Your Dog to Work Day, celebrating the companionship people share with their pets, and encouraging other employees to consider giving dogs in need a home.
RSPCA SA spokeswoman Carolyn Jones hopes the day raises awareness about dogs’ need for human company.
“We’d love it if more dogs went to work with their owners, where possible, rather than being left alone at home all day,” Ms Jones said.

Stanley & Co Lawyers partner Amra Sabou said when her firm participates on Friday, it won’t be the first time poodle Blossom has come to work with her.
“I take her for a walk every couple of hours and it helps me too – it’s good for my concentration having those little breaks,” she said.
“When people come into our office they often feel a bit nervous because what they’re coming to see us for is often quite personal stuff. Hopefully the dogs will help them feel a bit more at ease.”
