'The Bachelorette': Fans Are Sharing Resources About Abuse After Watching Hannah Brown and Luke P.

his season of The Bachelorette has been heavily focused on Luke Parker (or Luke P.) That’s because he became Hannah Brown’s favorite earlier on yet he still raised red flags.

Parker started strong on the show by getting the first impression rose in the first episode. Things quickly took a turn by the second episode when he claimed that he already started falling in love with Brown.
Some called his behavior of moving so fast as “love bombing.” Love bombing is when you overwhelm someone with adoration and attraction with tokens of affection, surprise appearances, and more according to Psychology Today.
Parker did surprise Brown in her confessional interview to get more time with her and returned to the show after Brown tried to send him home.
Brown also noticed some red flags early on in the season. She said he was trying to get attention in a negative way on a group date.
Luke P. stole the show again but in a negative way,” Brown said on the show. “I know he’s one of my strongest connections, but it’s annoying when he tries to flaunt our connection in front of the guys. There have been just some little red flags about how he carries himself that bothers me a little bit. It’s like this fine line of I really think it’s attractive to it’s the most unattractive thing that I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Brown has tried to get the truth out of Parker multiple times and failed

The star has struggled to try to figure out why all of the other contestants aren’t getting along with Parker. When she tried to get an answer out of Parker or get him to own up to mistakes it didn’t work. A lot of fans responded by labeling Parker’s behavior as gaslighting.
Psychology Today describes gaslighting as making someone question their reality in order to gain power. It lists multiple signs and lying is one of them.
Fans aren’t just talking about what’s been going down on the show and what they believe it means. They are also sharing resources on how to recognize abuse in response to it.

Resources about abuse are being shared after the episode

Some people shared hotlines to call for victims or survivors of abuse after the show’s latest episode. Some of the resources shared are RAINN, a hotline for sexual assault support, National Sexual Violence Resource CenterNational Domestic Violence Hotline, and more.
The official Twitter account for Know Your IX, also tweeted that the episode could have been triggering to those who were in a toxic and abusive relationship before. Know Your IX is a project that aims to empower students and end sexual violence and dating violence at schools, according to their website.
Parker’s time on the show still isn’t over. A teaser revealed that he is the one who confronts Brown for having sex. It looks like the next episode will be another emotional one for the star.

In Season 11 of The Voice, Garth Brooks came to help the top 12 performing contestants. The coaches that season also included Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, and Alicia Keys. He talked about what it was like to work with the coaches.
Working with Blake was pretty easy, just ’cause he’s [also] from Oklahoma,” he said according to Rare Country. He also revealed his strategy when it came to working with Levine.
“Adam seems real hip and cool, but Adam’s very old school,” the former advisor said. “The main thing was just listen to the advice he was giving ‘em, and then just pile on top of that.”

Brooks said he sometimes couldn’t tell his voice apart from Shelton’s

Their duet, “Dive Bar” was released on June 18. The song is all about getting lost in the weekend at a dive bar.
Brooks previously teased the upcoming song as a “summertime anthem.” The two also sound similar on the track.
He was fun,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “He came to the studio and just did a good old summertime anthem. It’s called ‘Dive Bar’ and it just talks about spending your summers in the dive bars across America, and it’s going to be fun.”
Brooks revealed, “Sometimes I didn’t know if it was me or him, because we’re basically raised around the same area, so it was pretty cool.”
He also talked about doing a music video for it. “I think we have to [make a music video]!” he said. “I don’t know when the last time we did a country music video was, but you don’t want to pass this opportunity up. It’s going to be fun.”

Brooks said he asked Shelton to be on the song after he performed “God’s Country”

The country singer revealed that there was one performance that made him ask Shelton to work with him. Of course, he said yes.
I was watching the ACMs this year, and there was one performance that really hit me hard: Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country.” I thought, ‘I’m feeling something here that’s drawing me right into this television.’ So I just reached out for him,” Brooks told Billboard.
“He was so sweet on the phone. The last thing I said was, ‘Hey, man, I don’t want to put you on the spot, but we got a song that might be a pretty cool duet.’”
The song is now available, but there will probably be a music video for it. It’s unknown when that would be released.
This also means that Brooks could appear on the upcoming season of The Voice. After all, the coaches have performed their latest hits on the show before so this could be another interesting performance.

Veteran Organizer Claims Marie Kondo Copied Her Folding Method, Says 'It Felt Like Somebody Had Stolen My Baby'

June 18, 2019
By now most people have heard of the decluttering superstar named Marie Kondo. Thanks to her influence, people all over the world have begun purging their homes of unnecessary stuff all in the name of finding inner peace. “Does it spark joy?” they ask. If the answer is no, it’s got to go.
Marie Kondo’s book documents the process she uses. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up reached New York Times best-seller status and even inspired a show on Netflix called Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. Now, Kondo is an internationally recognized sensation with an avid audience of clean-seeking devotees.
There’s just one problem—another organizer claims Marie Kondo stole her ideas.

Marie Kondo revolutionized the home organizing industry

Even before Marie Kondo came along and made it popular, home organizing was a big business. People paid thousands for services ranging from personalized professional organizing to junk removal. Basically, people have been hoarding stuff and seeking ways to get rid of it for decades before KonMari was invented.
The one thing that made Marie Kondo stand out? Her eccentric decluttering methods. Her brand of organizing included a few basic principles such as only keeping those items that “spark joy” and decluttering homes by category, not by room. One other majorly recognizable aspect of her organizing methods is her unique folding method.

Did Marie Kondo steal her upright folding idea?

Instagram is full of photos featuring Kondo’s unique upright folding technique. Marie Kondo recommends that followers fold absolutely everything—including clothing, underwear, sheets, towels, napkins, and other fabrics—in a specific way and then standing it upright in a drawer. Everyone is blown away by this revolutionary suggestion. Except for one Los Angeles-based home organizer who claims Kondo stole her method.
Linda Koopersmith, also called “The Beverly Hills Organizer,” has been using the upright folding technique for most of her 30-year career and she has the videos to prove it. In the wake of Marie Kondo’s popularity, she began sharing old videos where she demonstrates this exact method back in 2003.
Koopersmith said, “What Marie calls her KonMari Method, is actually a folding technique created by me 27 years ago. It was published in my book in 2005, it was shown on the TV show Clean House for years and seen on YouTube videos.”

Koopersmith is appalled that Marie Kondo would steal her idea

The Beverly Hills Organizer has lived up to her name over the years, taking on big-name clients including Serena Williams, Khloé Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Orlando Bloom, Sofia Vergara, and Derek Jeter. And she showed them all how to fold their clothing upright long before “spark joy” became a catchphrase.
“I am a pioneer of the organizing business. I started in 1989 … I invented that upright folding method when my daughter was three to organize her drawers so she could see everything. I have shown how the folded item should stand up on its own for many, many years,” she said.
“Despite this, it has been claimed that Marie is the creator of the ‘upright fold.’ Nobody has asked her, ‘How did you come up with this?’ When I first saw Marie demonstrate my fold on TV as her own, it was so upsetting. I felt like somebody had stolen my baby.”

Koopersmith can’t keep quiet as Marie Kondo’s fame explodes

Koopersmith has been watching Kondo’s popularity grow especially after the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this week. Now she can’t sit back and accept that Kondo is becoming so famous based on an idea she allegedly stole.
She said: “This woman is not going to stop, the thing that makes her famous is my fold. That’s her claim to fame — she calls it the Kondo method … But it is the Linda Koopersmith method!”
We’ll keep a close watch on this developing feud!
